Glow Number Instructions

Before fixing your glow in the dark numbers to your property check to see where the darkest possible position is at night. Even though these solar numbers may out glow direct street light for some time you should mount them in a position that is shaded from any outside light source so that they can perform at there best. My latest solar numbers have such an intense glow they are best mounted 30 feet or more back from the road in a position that is dark but still clearly visible to traffic, this will keep them away from vehicle headlights. Don't think this will be to far from the road as the large numbers are clearly visible to twice this distance even after 6 hours of darkness and the giant numbers even further.

If you mount them near bright street lighting then the only advantage you will get from my solar house numbers is that they will be working at the time of a power failure, maybe when you need them the most.

Don't fix your numbers to a light coloured background, it is important that the background colour is as dark as possible, the darker the better.

When fixing your numbers it is a good idea to apply some silicone or alike to the back before screwing them in to your fence or wall, this will ensure that the number/s have a secure bond.
